Issues of Environment Environment has become a burning topic of discussion and debate, on all public platforms. The more the discussion the more the awareness and the dirtier the environment. Isnt it a thing to wonder about that, while we talk so much about, a lot is also being done in this regard but, the environment keeps on deteriorating. All that is around us is called and included in the term environment. This environment effects us physically, mentally, and even spiritually. There is so much contradiction in discussions and decisions and ground realities that, the talk and net results are poles apart. We keep on shouting from housetop about keeping our environment clean but, ehen it comes to contributing to the cleanliness of the same, all of us, yes all of us contribute to the polluting of the environment. For example, we all agree that we must keep our surroundings clean, but all of us clean our own houses and throw the rubbish out on the road. In this way we are only adding to the dirt in the environment and not to keeping it clean. So, the main issue of the environment is we the people. There are some issues of environment that are dangerous to us : Pollution - It is one of the main causes of an environmental issue because it poisons the air, water, soil and noise, as we know in the past few decades the number of industries have rapidly increased. Moreover these industries discharge their untreated water into the water bodies in soil, and in air. Most of these water contain harmful and poisonous materials that spread very easily because of the movement of water bodies and wind. Greenhouse gases - These are the gases which are responsible for the increase in temperature of the earth surface. These gases directly relates to the air pollution because of the pollution produced by the vehicles and factories which contain a toxic chemical that harms the life and the environment of the earth. Climate changes - Due to environmental issues the climate is changing rapidly and things like smog, acid rain are getting common. Also, the number of natural calamities are also increasing and almost every year there is floods, famine, drought, earthquake, landslide, etc Above all human beings and their greed for more is the ultimate cause of all the environmental issue. To minimise environmental issues These issues will not only save the environment but also save the life economy of the planet. Some of the ways of minimising environmental threats are discussed below. Reforestation- It will not only help in maintaining the balance of the ecosystem but also help in restoring the natural cycles that works with it. Also, it will help in recharge of the ground water, maintaining the monsoon cycle, decreasing the number of carbons from the air, and many more. The 3 R's principle : For contributing to the the environment one should have to use the 3R's principle that is reduce, reuse, and recycle. Moreover, it helps the environment in a lot of ways. The humans are the major sources of environmental issues. Likewise, our activities are the major reason that the level of harmful gases and pollutants have increased in the environment. Above all, if all humans contribute to the environment fought back. The natural can once again be restored.
