Fight Against Corona

Corona Virus disease is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered virus. The most common symptoms of this is cough ,fever ,difficulty in breathing ,and in severe cases pneumonia also. People infected with the covid-19 virus experience respiratory illness .The covid-19 virus spreads droplets of saliva discharge from the nose infected person cough or sneezes .We can take some precautions against the virus they are wash our hands using alcohol based rub frequently. Maintain social distancing, avoid eyes nose and mouth , practice respiratory hygiene , use mask if you have fever cough and difficulty in breathing seek medical care early as possible. There are no specific vaccines for covid-19 up this time. Clinical trials are going on WH Organization will give updated information .Compared to the other countries and stares it is not worthy to point out that precautions adopted by our honorable chief and health minister. In our God's own country, that is in Kerala the valuable efforts taken by health department that is doctors ,nurses and cleaning staff and the police department , fire force , media’s, working are really appreciable. The world's largest lock down is having a dramatic impact on pollution in India. When India imposed a national lock down a week ago it was designed stop spread, virus. But grinding this country of 1.3 billion people to a near halt has also provided temporary remedy to pressing another health issue suffocating pollution levels. The world's largest lock down means all factories ,markets, shops ,and places of worship are closed public transport suspended and construction work halted as India asks its citizens stay home and practice social distance. So far India has more than 1400 confirmed cases of covid-19 ,40 deaths.

Already data shows that the main cities are recording much lower level of harmful microscopic particulate matter known as pm 2.5 and of Nitrogen dioxide which is released by vehicles and power plant . PM 2.5 which is smaller than 2.5 micrometers in, in diameter is considered particularly dangerous as it can lodge deep in the lungs and it can pass into the other organs and causing serious health problems.

In the capital, New Delhi Govt. data shows the average concentration of PM 2.5 plunged by 71% in the space of a week falling from 91 micro gram per cubic metre on March 20 to 26 on March 27, after the lockdown began. The World Health Organisation considers anything above 25 to be unsafe. Nitrogen dioxide went from 52 per cubic metre to 15 in the same period also 71% fall. Mumbai , Chennai, Kolkata, Bangalore have also record a fall in their air pollutants .

The researchers in New York registered a 50% decline in carbon monoxide levels caused due to car emissions. while this situation is proving to be good for the environment. Scientist also worried that this numbers could rapidly spike up once these restore to normal. So we want to reduce the use of fuels for the better environment.
